Welcome to the Nor Cal Home page! These pages are part
of an on going project subsidized by the Northern California Women's Gymnastics
Association. Their purpose is to provide information about Nor Cal and the sport
of Artistic Gymnastics for our members and the gymnastics community at large.
You'll find lots of Nor Cal specific information here as well as links to many
other gymnastics resources out on the Net. These pages will be under
construction for some time, so check back often!

USA Gymnastics Background Screening - IMPORTANT UPDATE
From your friends at USAG;
Please post and forward the following important information to the Northern
California gymnastics community:
Please
find the attached updates on the mandatory Background Screening for
Professional Members, which will be required starting with new and renewed
memberships in December. The site is planned to be available beginning
November 12. ALL PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS SHOULD REVIEW THE INFORMATION, AND
ALLOW EXTRA PROCESSING TIME TO RENEW PRO MEMBERSHIPS.
Professional
Members must now include this Background Screening, in addition to Membership
Fees and Safety Certification, to be allowed on the floor of any USA
Gymnastics Event. If a Pro Member's expiration date is in December, or
for anyone needing membership in the next two months, I highly recommend that
she or he begin the renewal process once it becomes available next week.

Here is the birthdate break down for the level 8's 13yr. olds:
13A's = 4/24/95 - 9/30/94 & 13B's=9/26/94-4/28/94.
Other clarifications:
| The Workout on Thursday, April 24, will be open to all
levels, and will have 4 sets of apparatus and 2 floors available.
|
| The Workouts on Friday, April 25, are open to all Level 10
gymnasts. No other levels permitted.
|
| The larger sessions for Level 8 will be divided into smaller
Age Groups for awards.
|
| Gym Rosters will be faxed today or tomorrow, following the
notification of petitions.
|
